Ginormous Rose Topiary!

What could be happier than a ginormous rose topiary? I found these big babies at a catering business who (unfortunately) was closing their doors. I think they look great at the entrance of my booth. I put them in these large urns I have and now they are for sale. The urns are actually plastic (but they don't look it) so they are very light. I wonder who is brave enough to buy these? They make quite a statement, don't you think? I also picked up 8 beautiful custom made enormous white table cloths with huge flounces on them. I can't decide if I should share them or not. I keep thinking how wonderful they would look in the summer for a garden party, yet I don't want to hog them all to myself. What to do? Such a happy problem...

A Great Day Out with Jane and New Things at the Store

Here's a view of the new layout Traci helped me with. Thanks again Traci. It looks great! My dear friend Jane stayed with me this weekend. After we delivered all these great wall hangings to Touch of Mink we spent the entire day shopping for treasures in Monroe and had so much fun. We are looking forward to the Clayson flea market in August in Yakima.

Check out the new wall pieces. A huge framed print of a lady with a bird. It's gigantic, really! Another huge framed tapestry and a nearly 5 foot tall mirror. All priced very reasonably between $59-$89. Stop by for a visit! :)

Today my beautiful and talented dear friend Traci came to my booth and totally revamped it for me-creating a much needed breath of fresh air. Everything is displayed so nicely now and the space even looks bigger. Thank you Traci! I owe you more than a cup of coffee! Like a ding-a-ling though I forgot to take a picture so I have nothing new to post! I will have to come up with something interesting until I can get in there and take a new pic. French Flower Tea Cart-$62

This little tea/flower cart is one of the cutest little numbers I've seen. It's got 3 holders for flower pots or wine bottles or vases. Lots of curly scrolly work and 2 glass shelves. So many nifty things you can do with it.

Another French Burlap Chair-$89

These little chairs seem to be a big hit and I've just finished another one. I like the design and font from this burlap coffee sack. I think it lends itself well to the scale of this chair. It sure was fun to do. It will be arriving to the store tomorrow morning bright and early.

Voila! Bergere Style Chair with Ballet Slipper Ties-SOLD

I've always admired softly upholstered French chairs with ballet slipper ties down the legs like these pictured here below (taken from Country Living magazine). Now I've done my own for the shop and I'm very pleased to present it this weekend for $89.00. It's a petite scale French bergere style chair upholstered in a nubby canvas drop cloth fabric with muslin ties and a sweet little champagne color silk dupioni bow in back.

Ta Dah! Ultimate Upcycled French Burlap Coffee Bag Chair!-SOLD

Here she is! I still need to sand a little of the espresso glaze off. It's a bit too heavy in places, but I was so excited to post the picture I couldn't wait. This cutie will be delivered to Touch of Mink tomorrow (Tuesday) morning and is only $89! I like the result and hope you do too! Oh and I'm bringing in more burlap pillows in different sizes and I've added a little "bling" to some of them. They start at just $10.95.

French Burlap Chairs

I think it's pretty safe to say that these burlap chairs are super charming. The one directly below is from Hudson Home Goods and is priced at $1,500. A "tad" out of my budget! Rest easy though, Touch of Mink has an answer and pictures will be posted later today. So please stop by again this afternoon for a look see. Wow that was fast!

No sooner did I put this cute little Je T'aime bench out did it fly out the door. Goodbye little bench! Have fun in your new home...Now on to the next project....
